The bit between Christmas and New Year

December 30, 2018 by Alastair Johnston Leave a Comment

I’ve always loved the quiet time after the main event has taken place.

The pressure is off. There is time to relax and spend with family and loved ones. Time to stay up late, play games, watch movies and enjoy just being.

There is a sweet spot where Christmas Day has not fallen too far away into the memories, bringing with it a sadness of loss, and the New Year has not started yet with the inevitable feeling of stepping back out into the world of work, hustle and bustle and everydayness.

This week is that sweet spot.
